Volunteer Work
The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists actively encourages volunteer work in many developing countries. The aim is to upskill local staff, doctors and surgeons to independently manage ophthalmic conditions. This involves both teaching theory and surgical skills.
In 2015 Dr Dunlop lectured in neuro-ophthalmology at the Pacific Eye Institute, Fiji.
In 2023, Dr Dunlop trained as a Peer Educator with the Combined Pensioners and Superannuants Association of NSW (CPSA).
She now volunteers to present talks to community groups . Bookings made through;
